What is personal data?

Your personal data is the information about you that Labour Market Insurance (AES) handles.

What personal data about you do we handle? The personal data that is registered about you is:

When you are registered as a contact person in EASY and/or signed up for notifications from EASY:

  • Name
  • Contact information

When you make a profile for ESS:

  • Name of the place of employment
  • Your job title
  • Contact information: email and phone number
  • Your CPR number – If you do not have a CVR number

When you have joined the optional occupational disease insurance scheme:

  • Your personal ID (CPR) number

How does Labour Market Insurance (AES) handle your personal data?

We can get and link data for case processing and to check payments, etc. This may be done with help from Udbetaling Danmark based on special rules in the Udbetaling Danmark Act and in accordance with established guidelines, including rules for deleting data.

We may pass on data about you to other public authorities, including the Tax Administration (Skatteforvaltningen), Udbetaling Danmark and banks that are required, by law, to obtain the information or with which we cooperate. We also pass on your personal data to the people that your report or medical bill concerns.

The data about you is saved according to the statute of limitations and archives.

What are your rights?

You can object to Labour Market Insurance (AES) handling your personal data. You can also get access to the data we have about you.

 You can request:

  • to get your personal data corrected or deleted
  • to have your data sent to you or someone else and
  • for Labour Market Insurance (AES) to pause the handling of your data.

Labour Market Insurance (AES) will in all cases consider your request.
