When the statement is made

Statements made by Labour Market Insurance are guiding statements, and whether they wish to follow the advice or not is up to the parties to the case. Once the statement is made, we consider the case closed. In special cases we may, on request, elaborate on our statement.

In cases where the injured person's health or social and job situation changes after the statement is made, we charge a new fee if asked to make a new statement. In such a situation new information requires renewed handling of the case.

If, after the statement is made, the parties disagree on the assessment of the case, both parties may bring the case before a court of law.
